Grace is what defines us at Grace Temple Baptist Church of Lawnside. We are a vibrant, community-oriented church where the hurting and lost find love and meaningful relationships. Here, we grow in the understanding of the Bible and encourage everyone to grow towards the likeness of Jesus Christ. Our fellowship is the setting where we equip one another to proclaim the Good News as Christian disciples who serve by discipling others. We invite you to come and “Experience God’s Grace” in a place where God’s love is on full display and grace is extended to all.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Founded in 2010, the Grace Temple Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that makes an investment in people. Our mission is to partner with people and organizations to stimulate community and economic development that results in the physical, social, educational, and spiritual transformation of communities in South Jersey.

Lawnside students can now apply for a $100,000 Scholarship to pursue a degree in Marketing or Business at colleges and universities located within South Jersey and eastern Philadelphia regions. The application deadline is April 29, 2022. Click here to complete the online application.

OUR PASTOR

Reverend Dr. Charles L. McNeil, Sr. is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, was baptized, licensed, and ordained at the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in South Philadelphia. Known for his honest approach to preaching and teaching, he has pastored and assistant pastored churches in Philadelphia prior to coming to Grace Temple. Pastor McNeil has been an executive administrator at both a Christian college and a seminary, and has served on many boards, ministerium, and committees. His wife, Dr. Angela, herself an executive administrator at a college, is also a vital part of the ministry at Grace Temple. She leads our counseling ministry, women’s ministry, and serves as a leader with our young people. Married since 1994, Pastor and Dr. McNeil are the proud parents of three children.
